5-Day Neuroradiology Workshop
This workshop combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice to equip participants with advanced neuroradiology imaging and intervention skills. It focuses on complex cases, innovative imaging techniques, and new technologies for precise diagnosis and treatment.
Day 1: Advanced Neuroimaging Techniques
- Focus: Familiarisation with MRI, CT, and Doppler equipment
- Key Learnings: Advanced sequences like fMRI, diffusion, perfusion, and spectroscopy; CT protocols for stroke and vascular anomalies
Day 2: Brain Tumour & Epilepsy Imaging
- Focus: Protocols for neuro-oncology and epilepsy imaging
- Key Learnings: Tumour evaluation, epilepsy-related abnormalities, and post-treatment imaging for surgical and therapeutic planning
Day 3: Trauma & Vascular Imaging
- Focus: Acute neurotrauma and vascular anomaly imaging
- Key Learnings: Imaging for trauma (fractures, haematomas) and vascular issues (stroke, aneurysms); stroke protocols for thrombolysis
Day 4: Paediatric Neuroimaging
- Focus: Imaging for congenital and developmental paediatric conditions
- Key Learnings: Adjusting imaging parameters for paediatric needs and identifying congenital malformations like Chiari malformation and Moyamoya disease
Day 5: Interventional Techniques & Head/Neck Pathologies
