The candidate must have one or more of the following qualifications from a University established by law in India and recognised by the NMC or any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India and declared as equivalent :
- Gynaecologist (MD/DNB/MS)
- Urologist (MD/DNB/MS)

Workshops
The training is designed to be delivered in two phases:Part 1: Foundational training in urogynaecology, focusing on outpatient department (OPD) exposure, procedural training, and classroom sessions.Part 2: Advanced training, including simulator-based learning and hands-on experience with surgical cases.
Part 1: Fundamental Training (Week 6)
Focus: Foundational clinical & surgical knowledge.
Key Activities:
- OPD: Patient consultations, urodynamic testing & interpretation, pessary fitting, cystoscopy, POP-Q assessment.
- Didactic Sessions: Pelvic floor anatomy & diagnostics, SUI/OAB treatment, introduction to robotic surgery principles.
Part 2: Advanced Training (Week 12)
Focus: Refining surgical skills through simulation & hands-on practice.
Key Activities:
- Dry Lab: Simulator training in fundamental urogynaecological techniques and advanced suturing for pelvic floor reconstruction.
- Wet Lab: Cadaveric dissection with real tissue consistency, energy-based surgical tool practice, suturing in realistic surgical scenarios.
- Surgical Simulation: Sling placement (TVT/TOT), vaginal hysterectomy with pelvic floor repair on mannequins, and laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy training.
- Case-Based Learning: Expert-led reviews and discussions of patient cases.
- Advanced Procedures: Training in the management of complex conditions (Perineal Tears, Fecal Incontinence), MIS techniques, and laser/energy-based therapies.
