Curated specifically for MD/DNB/DVD dermatologists, the curriculum covers the full procedural scope of dermatology from aesthetic injectables and lasers to hair restoration, dermatosurgery, and the clinical management skills that make a practice sustainable.
- Perform aesthetic injectable procedures across neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and biostimulators with clinical precision.
- Operate lasers and energy-based devices across hair, pigmentation, resurfacing, and skin tightening indications.
- Deliver regenerative trichology treatments and counsel patients on hair restoration procedures confidently.
- Execute dermatosurgical interventions, including scar management, vitiligo surgery, and thread lifts independently.
- Structure aesthetic consultations and manage patient expectations from first visit to post-procedure follow-up.
Course Overview
This 9-month Advanced Clinical Practice Program (ACPP) is designed for MD/DNB/DVD Dermatologists covers aesthetic medicine, trichology, dermatosurgery, and practice management through a hybrid format of structured online learning, live classes with experts and a 1-month integrated clinical immersion in a KOL led derma clinic.

1-Month Intensive Clinical Training
Scheduled in the final month of the program.
Delivered in a KOL-led derma clinic, the 1-month immersion integrates learners into a live clinical environment across five training tracks :
Consultation and Counselling: Shadow senior dermatologists across hair, laser, injectable, and dermato-surgery OPDs, building patient communication and treatment planning instincts from real consultations.
Trichology and Hair Transplant: Train in graft extraction and implantation, PRP and GFC procedures, trichoscopy, and mesotherapy, with observational exposure across all hair restoration modalities.
Aesthetic Dermatology: Practice laser hair reduction, chemical peels, scar reduction, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, thread lifts, MNRF, and HIFU on actual patients under supervision.
DermatoSurgery: Gain hands-on and observership exposure to lipoma excision, earlobe repair, vitiligo surgery, scar repair, and fat grafting throughout your immersion month.
Clinic Management: Attend dedicated sessions on clinic setup, equipment procurement, patient journey design, and practice operations.
Course Curriculum
This foundational subject equips practitioners with the essential physics and clinical applications of lasers and energy-based devices. You will learn to customize parameters specifically for Indian skin types (Fitzpatrick IV-VI) to maximize efficacy while minimizing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). The subject covers a broad spectrum of EBD technologies, from laser hair reduction to advanced skin tightening. The constituent modules are:
- Foundational Science: Lasers in Dermatology
- Laser Hair Reduction (LHR) Protocols
- Pigmentation & Tattoo Removal (Q-Switched Nd:YAG)
- Ablative & Non-Ablative Resurfacing (CO2/Erbium)
- HIFU & RF: Clinical Tightening Parameters
Eligibility Criteria
- The Candidate must meet the following requirements:
MD/DNB in Dermatology or equivalent qualification form a NMC recognised University.
