What You Will Learn
Built on three pillars: hospital-based clinical training, self-paced academic content, and structured exam preparation. This program takes you from MBBS graduate to MRCPCH-ready specialist. You will:
- Master core Paediatrics competencies across Neonatology, General Paediatrics, Paediatric Intensive Care, and other sub-specialties, gained through genuine hands-on hospital rotations rather than theoretical exposure alone.
- Diagnose and manage common and complex pediatric systemic diseases: nephrotic syndrome, urinary tract infections, pediatric tuberculosis, childhood anemias, and exanthematous fevers.
- Assess pediatric growth parameters, developmental milestones, and manage developmental delays and nutritional deficiencies.
- Manage neonatal conditions in the NICU, including neonatal sepsis, hyperbilirubinemia, respiratoryExecute Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) protocols for pediatric shock, status epilepticus, acute severe asthma, and stridor. distress syndrome, and neonatal resuscitation.
- Prepare systematically for every stage of MRCPCH, from Foundation of Practice/Theory and Science (FOP/TAS) through Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP) to the Clinical Exam, with a syllabus-mapped curriculum.
Why Choose This Program
This program combines 24 months of hands-on Paediatrics clinical training at India's leading partner hospitals, with a stipend of up to INR 6 LPA, with recorded video lectures and study notes that reinforce what you learn on the wards. Alongside this, a fully structured test-prep track runs through your training: high-yield notes, extensive question banks, realistic mock exams and past papers, and dedicated academic mentors, all mapped to the MRCPCH blueprint.
Clinical Relevance & Practical Application
Children present with unique physiological, pharmacological, and psychological profiles distinct from adults. In this program, fellows actively participate in neonatal resuscitations, monitor developmental milestones, manage complex pediatric infections, and handle acute critical emergencies in the PICU. Fellows learn to evaluate acute stridor, manage severe dehydration and fluid therapy, manage status epilepticus, and formulate nutritional rehabilitation plans for malnourished infants under consultant guidance.
How Will You Learn
Our blended training approach delivers comprehensive competency across all pediatric domains:
- Digital Curated Modules: 18 high-yield modules and case studies covering neonatology, critical care, developmental pediatrics, and systemic diseases.
- Interactive Case Discussions: Regular live case conferences discussing complex pediatric cases, radiology rounds, and management dilemmas.
- 2-Year Supervised Hospital Postings: Full-time rotational training in tertiary pediatric departments, NICUs, and PICUs with a yearly stipend of up to INR 6.0 LPA.
- MRCPCH Examination Suite: Extensive question banks for FOP/TAS and AKP, accompanied by structured practical clinical examination OSCE carousels.
Rotational Clinical Training & Stipend
Clinical immersion is delivered in accredited corporate and multispecialty pediatric hospitals featuring advanced NICUs and PICUs. The 2-year rotation schedule includes:
- General Pediatric Inpatient Wards (10 Months): Acute infections, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, and growth monitoring.
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU (6 Months): Preterm care, phototherapy, exchange transfusion, and CPAP/mechanical ventilation.
- Pediatric Intensive Care & Emergency (6 Months): PALS protocols, septic shock, status epilepticus, and acute respiratory failure.
- Pediatric Outpatient Specialty Clinics (2 Months): Immunization, well-baby clinics, pediatric nephrology, and neurology clinics.
- Stipend: A yearly stipend of up to INR 6.0 LPA is provided to candidates across their 24-month hospital rotations.
Faculty Expertise & Mentorship
Our faculty consists of senior professors of pediatrics, neonatologists, and MRCPCH examiners. Mentors conduct regular bedside clinical discussions, review digital logbooks, and train candidates in structured clinical examination techniques, communication skills, and ethical child advocacy.
Accreditation & Career Pathways
Upon satisfying all academic and clinical logbook requirements, candidates receive the OC Academy Certificate in Paediatrics. Attaining the MRCPCH diploma enables doctors to obtain full GMC registration in the UK, qualifying them for pediatric registrar training posts in the NHS, corporate pediatric hospitals in India, and child healthcare centers across the Middle East.

Course Curriculum
Foundational child health relies on the seamless transition from neonatal adaptation to optimal somatic growth and neurodevelopment. This subject provides structured clinical training in essential newborn care, identification and initial stabilization of common neonatal disorders, and comprehensive well-child surveillance. Fellows master anthropometric assessment, growth chart interpretation, early detection of growth faltering, and developmental milestone tracking with critical red flags across gross motor, fine motor, language, and personal-social domains. Additionally, the curriculum addresses pediatric nutritional requirements, the pathophysiology of macro- and micronutrient deficiencies, and evidence-based protocols for managing Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM), Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), and specific deficiency states.
