What You Will Learn
Built on three pillars: hospital-based clinical training, self-paced academic content, and structured exam preparation. This program takes you from MBBS graduate to MRCOG-ready specialist. You will:
- Master core Obstetrics & Gynaecology competencies across Antenatal Care, High-Risk Pregnancies, Labor and Delivery, Gynaecological Oncology, and Reproductive Medicine, gained through genuine hands-on hospital rotations.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, gestational diabetes mellitus, and cardiac disease in pregnancy according to RCOG guidelines.
- Screen, diagnose, and participate in surgical interventions for gynaecological malignancies: cervical cancer screening (colposcopy, HPV DNA), ovarian masses, and endometrial carcinoma.
- Prepare systematically for every stage of MRCOG, from Part 1 through to Part 3 (OSCE), with a syllabus-mapped curriculum.
Why Choose This Program
This program combines two years of hands-on Obstetrics & Gynaecology clinical training at India's leading partner hospitals, with a stipend of up to INR 6 LPA, with recorded video lectures and study notes that reinforce what you learn on the wards. Alongside this, a fully structured test-prep track runs through your training: high-yield notes, extensive question banks, realistic mock exams and past papers, and dedicated academic mentors, all mapped to the MRCOG blueprint.
Clinical Relevance and Practical Application
Obstetrics and gynaecology involves life-saving decisions under acute pressure. Enrolled doctors manage complex antenatal dilemmas, perform emergency obstetrical maneuvers, interpret intrapartum cardiotocography (CTG), and assist in major gynaecological operations. By combining clinical exposure with RCOG Green-top Guidelines, doctors learn evidence-based protocols for postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC), and fertility treatments.
How Will You Learn
Our blended training framework ensures rapid clinical progression:
- Digital Core Curriculum: 41 comprehensive modules and ePub learning resources covering maternal-fetal medicine, surgical gynaecology, oncology, and endocrinology.
- Live Clinical Case Conferences: Bi-weekly interactive sessions analyzing clinical dilemmas, CTG case studies, and maternal audit reviews.
- 2-Year Supervised Hospital Postings: Full-time rotational training in high-volume labor rooms, maternity wards, and operative theatres with a yearly stipend of up to INR 6.0 LPA.
- MRCOG Examination Suite: Curated SBAs for Part 1 and Part 2, complemented by high-fidelity Part 3 clinical OSCE simulation stations.
Rotational Clinical Training & Stipend
Hospital postings are conducted in accredited corporate and private maternity hospitals providing comprehensive maternal-fetal care. The 2-year rotation includes:
- Labor Room & Delivery Suites (8 Months): Normal, instrumental, and emergency operative deliveries, intrapartum fetal monitoring, and acute emergency drills.
- High-Risk Obstetric & Antenatal Wards (6 Months): Pre-eclampsia, diabetes, maternal cardiac disease, multiple gestations, and fetal growth restriction.
- Gynaecology OPD & Operative Theatres (8 Months): Abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, pelvic floor repair, diagnostic laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy.
- Neonatology & Obstetric Anesthesia (2 Months): Neonatal resuscitation in the labor room and regional anesthesia support.
- Stipend: Trainees receive a yearly stipend of up to INR 6.0 LPA throughout their 24-month hospital postings.
Faculty Expertise & Mentorship
The academic faculty consists of senior Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, FRCOG mentors, and experienced Royal College examiners. Mentors provide one-on-one feedback during clinical postings, guide surgical technique acquisition, and conduct realistic mock OSCE stations.
Accreditation & Global Career Mobility
Upon satisfying all academic and clinical logbook requirements, doctors receive the OC Academy Certificate in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, accredited by ISSRF and CPD standards. Achieving the MRCOG diploma provides a recognized route for full GMC registration in the UK, qualifying doctors for senior registrar and subspecialty fellowship posts in the NHS, Gulf countries, and leading Indian corporate hospitals.

Course Curriculum
This subject delivers advanced clinical training in the surveillance, risk stratification, and multi-organ management of physiological and complicated pregnancies. Fellows explore the pathophysiology of endothelial dysfunction in preeclampsia, gestational insulin resistance, fetoplacental vascular insufficiency, and maternal hemodynamic decompensation. The curriculum emphasizes longitudinal antenatal protocols, maternal cardiac evaluation (NYHA scoring, echocardiography), point-of-care obstetric ultrasonography, and Doppler velocimetry of the umbilical and middle cerebral arteries. Fellows acquire competencies in managing medical crises across ambulatory clinics, obstetric high-dependency units (HDU), and intensive care units (ICU). Key therapeutic strategies include evidence-based antihypertensive regimens, intravenous magnesium sulfate neuroprotection, insulin titration protocols, severe anemia correction, and multidisciplinary care planning for multifetal gestations and severe fetal growth restriction aligned with ACOG and RCOG guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or an equivalent international medical authority.
- Successful completion of a 12-month compulsory rotatory medical internship.
